Need a hand?
OwlPrompter is a teleprompter for iPhone & iPad and Android. There is no account, so there is nothing to log into and no password to reset — most problems are one of the four below.

Include your device model, OS version and what you were doing when it went wrong — it roughly halves how long a fix takes.
Voice scroll is not following me
Voice scroll needs microphone permission. Open your device settings, find OwlPrompter and check the microphone is allowed.
It also needs the prompter language to match the language you are speaking. Set it in the prompter’s settings, not the app’s interface language.
Very noisy rooms are genuinely hard. If there is loud music or several people talking, switch to timed or words-per-minute scrolling for that take.
I paid but Pro is not unlocked
Open the app, go to Settings and choose Restore Purchases. This re-reads your receipt from the App Store or Google Play.
Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account or Google account you bought with — purchases follow the store account, not the phone.
If it still does not unlock, email us with the store receipt and we will sort it out.
I want to cancel my subscription
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so they are cancelled there rather than in our app.
iPhone and iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → OwlPrompter → Cancel.
Android: Play Store → profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → OwlPrompter → Cancel.
Cancelling during the 7-day free trial costs you nothing, as long as you do it before the trial ends.
My recording is missing or the app closed mid-take
Recordings are saved to your device, not to a server, so check the app’s recordings list first — a take interrupted by a call is usually still there.
If your device was low on storage the recording may have been cut short. Free up space and try again.
Tell us the device model and OS version when you write in; that is usually what we need to reproduce it.
Privacy and your data
We do not hold your scripts or recordings, so there is nothing for us to export or delete on your behalf — removing the app removes them. The privacy policy sets out the few things we do process and how to exercise your rights over them.
