Free tier
A free teleprompter app that does not put a watermark on your video
“Free” usually means a logo across your video or a script limit of one. OwlPrompter’s free tier is the app: scrolling, recording with filters, import and Delivery Score, for up to three scripts, with nothing stamped on the export. Pro adds the parts that need the microphone and camera to think.
What the free tier includes
Everything below is free, on iPhone, iPad and Android, without creating an account.
- Speed and timed scrolling at your own words-per-minute
- Video recording with filters, no watermark
- PDF, DOCX, TXT and RTF import
- Delivery Score after every take
- Up to three scripts
- Interface in 11 languages
What Pro adds
Voice scroll, eye-contact mode, burned-in captions, virtual backgrounds, live streaming, filler-word removal and unlimited scripts.
- 7-day free trial on AI Yearly (iPhone and iPad)
- Cancel anytime from your store account
- The free tier keeps working if you stop
Your scripts stay on your phone
Free or paid, there is no account and no sync. Scripts and recordings are stored on the device and we cannot read them. The optional AI features upload only what you start them on.
Questions

No. The free tier does not expire. The only limit is three scripts; delete one to add another, or upgrade for unlimited.
Does the free version add a watermark?
No. Recordings from the free tier export clean.
Do I have to enter a card to use it?
No. The free tier needs no payment details. A card is only involved if you subscribe or start the 7-day free trial of AI Yearly through the App Store, and you can cancel the trial before it ends.
