Who this agreement is with

OwlPrompter is provided by TECHNINN SOLUTIONS BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ A.Ş., İnkılap Mah. Sokullu Cad. No:5 Ümraniye / İstanbul, Türkiye. This agreement is between you and us alone. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not parties to it, and neither is responsible for the app or its content.

The licence you get

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use OwlPrompter on devices that you own or control, for your own purposes, whether personal or commercial.

If you obtained the app from the App Store, that licence is limited by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions, including their provisions on Family Sharing. If you obtained it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service apply alongside these terms.

You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it except where that restriction is void under applicable law; or remove any notice of ownership from it.

Plans, subscriptions and trials

OwlPrompter is free to use for speed and timer scrolling, recording, filters and up to three scripts, and everyone can try a few AI script drafts for free. OwlPrompter Pro unlocks voice-tracked and eye-contact scrolling, unlimited scripts, filler-word removal, burned-in captions, live streaming and virtual backgrounds. OwlPrompter AI includes everything in Pro and adds the cloud AI features — AI eye contact, AI captions, Create with AI and AI rewrite — with a monthly allowance of AI credits. The AI features are currently available in the iPhone and iPad app only.

Pro and OwlPrompter AI are sold as subscriptions, and AI credits can also be bought in packs. Which plans are offered depends on your device and app version; the exact title, duration and price of each option are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency. If you bought the one-time lifetime purchase while it was offered, it remains valid, does not renew and keeps unlocking Pro.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, at the price then shown for your plan.

Where a plan starts with a free trial, the app says so before you buy — on iPhone and iPad currently the yearly OwlPrompter AI plan, with 7 days free. Trials are for new subscribers, one per subscription group as the store decides. You are not charged during the trial, and cancelling before it ends costs nothing. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription during it. Payment is taken from your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase.

An OwlPrompter AI trial includes no credits. Instead it includes one AI eye contact and one AI captions job for a recording of up to 3 minutes each. Your first 120 credits arrive when the first paid period starts.

Cancelling and refunds

You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple or Google account settings, not in OwlPrompter — we cannot cancel them for you. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have already paid for, and it does not by itself produce a refund.

Refunds are handled by whichever store sold you the subscription or the credit pack, under that store's policy. If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or Türkiye, your statutory withdrawal and cancellation rights apply and nothing here limits them.

If a price changes, the store will tell you and, where required, ask for your agreement before the new price takes effect.

AI credits

AI eye contact and AI captions are paid for with AI credits. Credits are a virtual item that only works inside OwlPrompter: they have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, cannot be transferred to another person and cannot be resold.

• An OwlPrompter AI subscription adds 120 credits at the start of each monthly period; on the yearly plan, 120 credits are added every 30 days.
• Unused subscription credits carry over, but the monthly allowance only tops your unused subscription credits up to 240. Credits you bought in a pack do not count towards that limit.
• AI eye contact uses 5 credits per started minute of the recording. AI captions use 1 credit per started minute, plus 1 credit per started minute for each translation language. The app shows the cost before you start, and the server's measurement of the recording's length is what counts.
• Credits are reserved when a job starts. If the job fails, or you stop it before processing begins, they come back. If you stop a job after processing has started, they do not, and a trial job you stop counts as used.
• Credits do not expire while the AI features are offered, and credits you still hold can be spent after your subscription ends.
• Script drafts and rewrites do not use credits. They are subject to the fair-use limits below.

Credits are tied to the purchases in your Apple or Google account. If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, restoring purchases brings your subscription back, and with it your credit balance. Credit purchases are final and are not refunded, except where the store refunds the purchase under its own policy or where the law that applies to you requires a refund; if a purchase is refunded, we may remove the credits it added. If we ever stop offering the cloud AI features, we will tell you in the app at least 30 days beforehand so you can use your credits.

Using the AI features

AI eye contact changes where your eyes appear to look. Results depend on lighting, framing and head movement — glasses and how far you look away also matter — and may not look right on every take. Your original recording is never changed: the corrected version is saved as a new take.

Captions, translations and AI-written scripts are produced automatically and can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable. AI-written text may be generic, may resemble text that already exists, and may state things that are not true. Check everything before you publish it; you are responsible for what you publish.

As between you and us, you own what the AI features produce from your material, and we claim no rights in it. You give us only the permission needed to process your material to produce the result, as described in our privacy policy.

When you use the AI features you agree not to upload a recording of someone who has not agreed to it, not to use them to impersonate anyone or to make content that deceives people about who said something, and not to ask them for unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit or harassing content. You also agree not to try to get around the credits, the free allowances or the limits, for example by automating requests or by reinstalling to claim a free allowance again.

To keep the service available for everyone, these fair-use limits apply: recordings of up to 10 minutes and 1 GB; up to 3 jobs running at once and 60 minutes of recordings per day; and up to 150 AI writing requests (openings, drafts and rewrites) in 30 days and 60 per day. The app tells you when you reach a limit and when it resets. We may suspend the AI features for anyone who breaks these terms.

The AI features need an internet connection and depend on our servers and on the providers named in our privacy policy. We will try to keep them available, but cannot promise that every job finishes or that a feature is never interrupted. Everything else in OwlPrompter keeps working without them.

Your scripts, recordings and broadcasts

Everything you write, record or broadcast with OwlPrompter is yours. We claim no ownership over it and, as explained in our privacy policy, we do not receive it — except what you send to a cloud AI feature, which is used only to produce your result and deleted within 24 hours.

You are responsible for what you present and publish, including that you have the rights to any script, music, image or footage you use, and that your broadcast complies with the rules of the platform you send it to.

Because your content lives only on your device, keeping backups is your responsibility. Deleting the app deletes your scripts and recordings and we cannot recover them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use OwlPrompter to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to harass or defame, to impersonate another person, to stream content you have no right to stream, or to interfere with the app's technical operation or its purchase verification.

Third-party services

Live streaming sends your video to a destination you choose. Those services — YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, or any RTMP server you configure — are operated by others under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them, for their availability, or for what they do with what you send.

The cloud AI features rely on providers such as Google Cloud, NVIDIA, Groq, OpenAI and Anthropic, as listed in our privacy policy. They process your material for us, and you do not enter into a separate agreement with them by using the features.

You are responsible for complying with the terms of any third-party service you connect, and for holding whatever account or eligibility that service requires in order to broadcast.

Our intellectual property

OwlPrompter, its name, its logo, its design and its software are owned by TECHNINN SOLUTIONS BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ A.Ş. and protected by copyright and trade mark law. These terms give you a licence to use the app; they transfer no ownership.

Changes to the app and to these terms

We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop distributing the app. Where a change would materially reduce what a paid plan gives you, we will tell you before it takes effect.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and material changes will be announced in the app or on our website. Continuing to use OwlPrompter after that means you accept the new terms.

No warranty

OwlPrompter is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that speech recognition, AI eye contact, captions, translations or AI-written text will be accurate, or that a live broadcast will connect or stay connected — network conditions and third-party platforms are outside our control. Test your setup before anything that matters.

Nothing here excludes a warranty or right that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you as a consumer.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, lost recordings, missed broadcasts or lost opportunities arising from your use of OwlPrompter.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Ending this agreement

This licence lasts until it ends. It ends automatically if you breach these terms, and you may end it at any time by deleting the app. Ending it does not entitle you to a refund of a subscription period already paid for, and the sections on intellectual property, warranties, liability and governing law survive it.

Apple

The following applies if you obtained OwlPrompter from the App Store.

• This agreement is between you and TECHNINN SOLUTIONS BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ A.Ş. only, not with Apple. We — not Apple — are solely responsible for the app and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for OwlPrompter.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
• If a third party claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce it against you.

Google Play

If you obtained OwlPrompter from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service apply in addition to these terms. Google is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts and execution offices of İstanbul Anadolu have jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing in this section takes away a right you have as a consumer to bring proceedings where you live, or to apply to the consumer arbitration committee or consumer court that your own country's law makes available to you.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, nor of the right to bring proceedings there.
