About OwlPrompter

OwlPrompter is a teleprompter for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android that follows your voice. It is built and published by TechInn Solutions, a software company in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Why it exists

Most teleprompters scroll at a speed you set before the take, so you end up chasing the text — or the text runs away while you pause to think. OwlPrompter listens instead: the script moves as you speak, waits when you stop, and holds the line when you look away from the lens. The goal is a prompter you stop noticing, so the take sounds like you talking rather than you reading.

How it is built

Your scripts are yours, so the app is built to work without us. There is no account to create and no server of ours holding your words or your recordings. Eye-contact detection and Delivery Score run on the device, and so does voice tracking wherever your phone offers on-device speech recognition for your language.

Where something does leave the device — anonymous usage statistics, purchases handled by Apple and Google, a live stream you start — the privacy policy says exactly what, to whom and why.

Where it runs

  • iPhone & iPad — iOS 18 or later
  • Mac — macOS 15 or later
  • Android — Android 8.0 or later
  • Apple Watch — Remote for the iPhone app, watchOS 10 or later

The interface ships in 11 languages: English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Simplified Chinese. On the web there are free browser tools, such as the online teleprompter and the speech timer; voice scroll and eye-contact mode are in the app only.

How it is paid for

The app is free to download and free to use for scrolling, recording, document import and Delivery Score, with up to 3 scripts and no watermark. OwlPrompter Pro is a monthly subscription. OwlPrompter AI, which adds AI eye contact, captions and script writing on iPhone and iPad, is billed monthly or yearly, the yearly plan with a 7-day free trial. The app shows the current price for your country. There are no ads in the app. See pricing for exactly what each tier includes.
